de Buedemleër: certified SuperDrecksKëscht® fir Betriber since 2010

Aware of the necessity to adopt a sober and anti-waste management of resources, de Buedemleër is certified “SuperDrecksKëscht® fir Betriber (SDK)” since 2010.
Our anti-waste commitment consists of several points:
- Reduce and avoid as much as possible the waste linked to our activity;
- To recycle the waste from our construction sites through companies approved by the SDK;
- Make available free of charge scraps and single-use pallets that could be useful for DIY or upcycling*.
- Regular training of our teams, including a visit to the SDK site in Colmar-Berg in 2019.
*To take advantage of these free services, just call us and come and pick up the materials in our workshop in Ehlerange.
de Buedemleër also supports local ecological initiatives such as the ecovillage Benu in Esch-sur-Alzette and the training center Formida by donating materials (scraps or other products that would otherwise have been thrown away) and by offering internships.
Benu will be the largest ecovillage in the greater region. Its ambition is to carry out educational and concrete activities in harmony with natural and social values.
The Formida training center is a place of discovery, learning and sharing that promotes the circular economy, crafts and creativity.
The SuperDrecksKëscht® fir Betriber label is a certified quality label according to an international ISO standard, created in 1992 by the Environment Administration, the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Crafts. This certification is granted to companies, institutions and municipalities that manage their waste in an environmentally friendly way.
