In fact, these nets offer many advantages:
Why do the nets have an erfal or MHZ sticker? Because our suppliers assemble Neher insect screens in their factories.
When it comes to choosing a mosquito net, there are many questions to ask: which models are available and which to choose? Standard fabric or special fabric? Which color?
Of course, choosing the right model of insect screens for your needs is essential.
Ask our specialists, who will advise you and take measurements for an ideal, customized solution.
Do you know why fabrics of insect screens are dark rather than white? In fact, and this is far from instinctive, the darker color gives better visibility to the outside. White screens, on the other hand, can cause light reflection, which can be unpleasing to the eyes.
To avoid long lead times, order your screens in low season, between October and February! (Production lead times range from 4 to 5 weeks in high season and 2 to 3 weeks in low season).
Tired of having your views of the outside restricted by cheap insect screens?
In fact, while insect screens are essential for protection against mosquitoes, they shouldn’t come at the expense of the view, aesthetics and air circulation.
But does even standard fabric combine effective protection, durability, a good view and air circulation? The answer is: yes! Explanations
The fiberglass fabric is made of plastic-coated fiberglass yarn.
This high fiberglass content guarantees high resistance to tearing and weathering. In fact, insect screens lasts over time: you won’t need to change it every two years!
This fabric is made of fine fiberglass. It has the same yarn structure as the FA fiberglass fabric.
Here, however, the wire diameter is much thinner: this technical feature is achieved by reducing the glass fiber content and using a thinner PVC coating.
This not only improves air permeability, but also the transparency of the fabric. As a result, daylight enters your home as if there were no fabric in its way.
Tear strength and weather resistance are also perfectly suited to normal use. However, in view of the fine yarn diameter, fine glass fiber fabric should not be used in cases of high mechanical stress and extreme weather conditions.
Special fabrics may cost extra, but they have different specific characteristics and offer you advantages in terms of aesthetics, comfort and even your health! Let’s take a closer look.
Tired of having your views of the outdoors restricted by insect screens?
Insect screens are essential for protection against mosquitoes, but this should not be at the expense of aesthetics and visual appeal. Good air circulation is also important within the home: completely impermeable products are out of the question.
On the contrary, Neher’s Transpatec fabric isdesigned to offer, in addition to excellent insect protection :
Point of attention: remember to install stickers on sliding doors to prevent guests or pets from walking through the fabric!
Are you or a family member allergic to pollen? Does hay fever come back every year and you’re tired of not being safe from sneezing and itchy eyes?
Don’t panic: Polltec and Polltec TFP special fabrics have been specially designed to protect against pollens and grasses!
This surprising feature lets you create a protective cocoon in your house or apartment… without compromising ventilation.
The anti-pollen fabrics used for these screens have an elongated mesh, which allows air and light to pass through. However, pollens remain trapped in the fabric: this is made possible by the fabric’s coating.
Protection can be as effective as 99%, depending on wind speed and pollen size.
Special fabrics offer a versatility not possible with standard fabrics.
This is the case with the Polltec TFP fabric, which not only protects against unwanted insects, but also fights pollen.
A practical 2-in-1 when you live in a region where mosquitoes are legion. What’s more, this innovative fabric lets in far more light and air than traditional anti-pollen fabrics!
This dual functionality is made possible by an extremely fine thread. Protection against grass and flower pollen is up to 90%, depending on wind speed and pollen size.
The problem with insect screens is that they tend to tear when pulled too hard, despite their design and strength.
When you have cats and dogs, this can quickly become a problem: they may well decide to tear the fabric with their claws to get out into the garden or onto the balcony.
Opt for polyester fabric: thanks to its reinforced mesh, the mosquito net is 7 times more resistant to scratching than conventional screens.
Openings such as skylights can also be protected from insects (and leaves)!
This is made possible by LiSA insect screens, which are made of metal (aluminum or stainless steel).
Neher insect screens not only offer effective protection against insects, but also integrate elegantly into your woodwork.
This is made possible not only by the eight standard colors available for the screen profiles, but also by the possibility of customizing the color (for an additional charge). In this way, you can have a completely made-to-measure mosquito net.
Special colors are processed according to RAL and NCS standards.
Please note that the production lead time is 2 weeks longer for this type of made-to-measure insect screens.
Don’t uninstall your screens in winter! Frames and fabrics are specifically manufactured to withstand also winter weather conditions.
What’s more, dismantling them can sometimes lead to fabric or other damages. By leaving them installed all year round, you avoid such risks.
The other advantage? You don’t have to find a specific storage space.
To keep your insect screens clean and in good condition, there are several simple cleaning methods:
In all three cases, you run the risk of damaging the canvas or frame if you apply too much pressure. So don’t scrub too hard, vacuum gently and choose a water pressure that’s not too high!
